Assistant General Manager, Licensed Cosmetologist

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership to provide top-tier employee and guest experiences
• Perform and sell products and services including consultations, color applications, and blowouts
• Support localized marketing initiatives to drive foot traffic and brand awareness
• Lead by example in sales and service behaviors and resolve guest issues
• Manage staffing, front of house operations, and back of house support
• Act as Manager on Duty in the General Manager's absence
• Achieve monthly sales goals and KPIs including retail, services, and memberships
• Partner with the General Manager on cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory
• Manage employee schedules in compliance with labor laws and budgets
• Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and talent development

Requirements

• Licensed Cosmetologist in the state of application
• Master Colorist with advanced color theory knowledge
• 2+ years of salon and retail experience
• 1+ years of supervisory experience
• Proficiency in proactive problem solving and troubleshooting
• Experience using salon or retail technology
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and peak times
• English fluency
