About the Company

Fabio Viviani Hospitality Group brings South Barrington Giostra to life—an old-school Italian restaurant featuring simple, classic dishes inspired by the recipes of Fabio's mother and grandmother. The restaurant aims to provide a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of Old Florence.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, genuine hospitality in a timely manner
• Ensure guests feel important and welcome
• Lead and coach the team towards exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction
• Manage hiring, training, development, and performance management
• Guide unit departments in upholding business excellence and efficiency
• Assist in managing P&L considerations and verifying payroll
• Implement strategies for revenue enhancement and cost containment
• Run hands-on shifts during high-volume periods
• Ensure adherence to company safety and sanitation policies

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Restaurant/Hospitality Leadership preferred
• Proficient knowledge of food cost management systems and processes
• Strong understanding of budgets, financial statements, and cost management
• Ability to interpret data and analyze market trends
• Excellent communication skills for managing teams and interacting with guests
• Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products
• Flexibility to work various shifts with undefined end times
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20+ pounds
