Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead daily fulfillment operations including picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing
• Ensure achievement of KPIs such as order cycle time, on-time shipment, and order accuracy
• Oversee labor planning, workforce management, and peak season staffing
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and supervisors to build leadership pipelines
• Partner with the General Manager to execute operational strategies and capacity planning
• Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
• Leverage data and analytics to identify performance gaps and continuous improvement opportunities
• Support the implementation of automation, WMS enhancements, and new technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in fulfillment, distribution, or warehouse operations
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing managers or supervisors in a high-volume setting
• Experience leading large, hourly workforces (300+ employees preferred)
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
