About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily targets are met by leading the team and driving sales initiatives
- Drive sales by promoting personal training packages and building rapport with members
- Achieve sales targets for personal training services and small group training sessions
- Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding
- Conduct personalized welcome workouts for new members to evaluate fitness needs
- Facilitate professional development for personal trainers through regular coaching
- Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
- Must successfully pass background check
- Must have a valid Personal Training certification
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to lift more than 40 lbs
- Ability to work in a gym setting
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 years of customer service experience
- 1 year of sales experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
- Excellent MS Office skills
