Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and train the Sales team to drive membership and fitness service sales
• Ensure sales targets are met, particularly during weekends or in the absence of the General Manager
• Oversee membership billing processes and monitor sales lead follow-ups
• Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff members
• Supervise facility maintenance, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols
• Address member concerns and resolve issues to ensure high-quality customer service
• Communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members during emergencies

Requirements

• 2 years of customer service experience
• 3-4 years of sales experience
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to lift more than 40 lbs and move about club floors
• Ability to operate company computer systems and enter data

• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
