Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and train the Sales team to drive sales initiatives and meet targets
• Sell club memberships, fitness services, products, and programs
• Oversee membership billing processes and lead follow-up with prospects
• Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff members
• Supervise facility maintenance, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols
• Address member concerns and resolve issues to ensure high-quality customer service
• Communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members during emergencies

Requirements

• 2 years of customer service experience
• 3-4 years of sales experience
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to lift more than 40 lbs and work in a gym setting

• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
