Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to implement productivity, quality, and customer service standards
• Drive sales and repeat business by building rapport and establishing relationships with guests
• Control costs by monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and minimizing waste
• Supervise daily shifts, including opening and closing, to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience
• Manage human resources by selecting, training, coaching, and disciplining team members
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation standards and complying with legal regulations
• Monitor food presentation, service quality, and restaurant ambiance

Requirements

• At least 5 years of full-service management experience in a high-volume restaurant
• Valid Allergen, Sanitation, and ServSafe Certifications
• Proven track record of delivering results in a complex, fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership capability to build strong teams and achieve business goals
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience managing multiple units or opening new restaurant locations
