Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing cafe operations at the iconic Windsor Castle
• Oversee the operational function of the location, providing direction and structure to the team
• Build and maintain client relationships through regular meetings and forward planning
• Ensure high standards of customer experience across both front and back of house
• Manage financial and budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and sales improvement
• Support team performance through ongoing evaluation, training, and mentoring
• Maintain high levels of Food Safety and Health & Safety standards at all times

Requirements

• Experience working in a public space
• Experience in high-volume operations
• Experience in multi-site operations is highly desirable
• Strong financial and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• A genuine passion for food
