About the Company

The Dusty Boot Saloon & Dance Hall is a dressed-up saloon and cocktail lounge in downtown Banff, featuring fancy cocktails, western grub, live music, and a chef-driven menu. Part of the Banff Hospitality Collective (BHC), we focus on delivering a unique brand experience through high-quality service and a vibrant atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all areas of the venue, making quick and effective decisions
• Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs
• Complete financial, invoicing, reporting, and payroll administrative duties accurately
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and local laws
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including uniform and appearance standards
• Lead by example with a strong floor presence during shifts
• Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning meetings

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry
• ProServe certification
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with restaurant technology and systems
• Ability to work professionally, tactfully, and diplomatically
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
