Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute operational plans to achieve yard, production, and processing goals
• Coordinate daily workflow across receiving, processing, shipping, and equipment operation
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship to employees
• Uphold quality control standards for incoming materials and outbound shipments
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and environmental regulations
• Support scheduling, resource planning, and equipment allocation
• Prepare and review operational and performance reports
• Serve as a communication bridge between frontline employees and upper management

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in heavy-industrial, metals, recycling, or manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of metal recycling processes or yard operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and operational reporting tools
