About the role
Responsibilities
- Review and revise professional, construction, and design-build contract documents
- Perform litigation support activities and commercial claims analysis
- Review agency responses to Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests
- Provide legal guidance on conflicts of interest
- Assist with real property issues, including condemnation proceedings and lease reviews
- Prepare funding and security agreements for OMB review
- Assist with procurement appeals and decision processes
- Support labor relations, human resources, and collective bargaining agreement issues
- Conduct legal research and draft opinions on various laws and regulations
Requirements
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- One year of satisfactory United States legal experience or six months as an Agency Attorney Interne
- Must be authorized to work full-time in the U.S. without sponsorship
