About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review and revise professional, construction, and design-build contract documents
  • Perform litigation support activities and commercial claims analysis
  • Review agency responses to Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests
  • Provide legal guidance on conflicts of interest
  • Assist with real property issues, including condemnation proceedings and lease reviews
  • Prepare funding and security agreements for OMB review
  • Assist with procurement appeals and decision processes
  • Support labor relations, human resources, and collective bargaining agreement issues
  • Conduct legal research and draft opinions on various laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • One year of satisfactory United States legal experience or six months as an Agency Attorney Interne
  • Must be authorized to work full-time in the U.S. without sponsorship
