About the role
Responsibilities
- Support leadership and day-to-day operations of the Front Office
- Oversee front desk functions, room revenue, and room inventory
- Assist with supervisory duties including scheduling, performance evaluations, and discipline
- Act as Manager on Duty as required
- Manage staff administration, including Kronos Payroll Cycles and tip reports
- Coach employees to Limelight service standards and ensure guest satisfaction
- Train and cross-train new staff
- Coordinate with other departments regarding groups, VIPs, and individual guests
- Attend daily operations and management meetings
Requirements
- 2 years of hotel experience in a supervisory position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle difficult customer interactions
- Ability to stand, walk, or be on feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree
- Fluency in English and Spanish
