About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Athletics and the broader Athletics department
  • Manage athletics data, including team rosters, game schedules, and officials via the athletics website
  • Develop and execute strategic social media plans and communication outreach for athletic teams
  • Coordinate logistics for team travel, including arranging buses, flights, and hotel accommodations
  • Manage purchase orders, student billing for travel/equipment, and concession stand supplies
  • Assist in organizing end-of-season dinners, awards, and special athletic events
  • Serve as an administrator on duty for games and practices and maintain the school athletic calendar
  • Create scoreboard graphics and manage game day preparations for videoboards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience in office administration or athletic operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including before/after school and weekends, to support events
