Bachelor's degree or 3 years relevant experience, Knowledge of NCAA rules, Valid driver's license, CPR, AED and First Aid certification
About the role
Responsibilities
- Instruct student-athletes in the rules, techniques, and strategies of football during practices and competitive events
- Provide direct instruction, feedback, and mentorship to enhance athletic performance, sportsmanship, and academic growth
- Promote the physical and mental well-being of all student-athletes
- Assist the head coach with recruiting strategies to identify and attract qualified student-athletes
- Support the planning and execution of organized practices, training sessions, and game strategies
- Participate in game day support, fundraising activities, and alumni outreach as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or three years of relevant playing and/or coaching experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for the university's insurance program
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
- Ability to lift or move equipment up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
