Assistant Football Coach

Responsibilities

• Instruct student-athletes in the rules, techniques, and strategies of football during practices and competitive events
• Provide direct instruction, feedback, and mentorship to enhance athletic performance, sportsmanship, and academic growth
• Promote the physical and mental well-being of all student-athletes
• Assist the head coach with recruiting strategies to identify and attract qualified student-athletes
• Support the planning and execution of organized practices, training sessions, and game strategies
• Participate in game day support, fundraising activities, and alumni outreach as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or three years of relevant playing and/or coaching experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for the university's insurance program
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
• Ability to lift or move equipment up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
