Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, lounges, banquets, and in-room dining.
• Maintain a visible floor presence during meal periods and peak business levels to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Lead, coach, and support food and beverage colleagues to maintain high service standards and foster a positive team culture.
• Support banquet and event execution, including staffing, service flow, and guest/client needs.
• Partner with culinary, stewarding, and front office departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
• Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll review, inventory, ordering, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health department requirements, food safety standards, and alcohol service regulations.

Requirements

• Previous food and beverage supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, bars, banquets, or hotel food and beverage operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems, scheduling tools, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
