Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise, co-ordinate and direct the prompt, cordial and efficient service of food and beverages
• Ensure the highest standards of service excellence and quality in the food and beverage department
• Assist in the day-to-day logistics of food and beverage service to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Implement departmental Standard Operating Procedures and formal training plans
• Manage relevant reporting deadlines, payroll, and rosters
• Monitor and control operating equipment, standards, inventories, and food and beverage costs
• Ensure duties are carried out in accordance with Leading Quality Assessment (LQA) standards
• Oversee and complete monthly stock takes within the department
• Monitor guest feedback, queries, and complaints to ensure prompt and accurate service
• Liaise with the Food & Beverage Manager to maintain agreed cost levels and profit margins

Requirements

• 3-5 years F&B management experience in a luxury hotel environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in budget preparation and administrative control
• Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Innovative problem-solving and conceptual skills
