About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for departmental operations including purchase order creation and risk assessment preparation
- Prepare and manage candidate documentation such as tests, CVs, and medical certificates
- Maintain accurate records in personnel management systems and databases
- Process Flag State endorsement applications and track document status
- Communicate with Flag Authorities regarding application status
- Administer processes related to drug and alcohol policy compliance
- Update personnel records with collective bargaining agreements and union documentation
- Support departmental meetings by preparing materials and recording minutes
Requirements
- Relevant educational background
- Experience in administrative support roles
- Familiarity with documentation handling and record-keeping
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Proficiency in data entry
