About the role
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Personal Trainers
- Manage payroll processes for the personal training team
- Drive sales initiatives to meet monthly revenue and membership growth targets
- Conduct personalized welcome workouts for new members
- Provide constructive performance feedback to staff
- Address member concerns and ensure high-quality customer service
- Supervise facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety compliance
Requirements
- Valid Personal Training certification
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to lift more than 40 lbs
- Successful completion of a background check
- CPR certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- Proficiency with MS Office and computer systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of management experience (fitness management preferred)
- 2-3 years of customer service experience
- 1 year of sales experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Prior experience in personal training sales
