Assistant Fitness Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily targets are met by leading the team and driving sales initiatives
• Drive sales by promoting personal training packages and building rapport with members
• Achieve sales targets for personal training services and small group training sessions
• Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding
• Conduct personalized welcome workouts for new members to evaluate fitness needs
• Facilitate professional development for personal trainers through regular coaching
• Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Must be available to work nights and weekends
• Must successfully pass background check
• Must have a valid Personal Training certification
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to lift more than 40 lbs
• Ability to work in a gym setting

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of customer service experience
• 1 year of sales experience
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
• Excellent MS Office skills
