Assistant Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Income Audit functions
• Manage debtors and creditors age analysis and credit policy
• Oversee cashbook reconciliations, forex banking, and commission claims
• Manage the procurement cycle and internal inventory control
• Oversee monthly VAT and PAYE returns for SARS compliance
• Prepare management account reports and input up to Income Statement level
• Ensure monthly balance sheet completion and departmental GL distribution
• Drive process, system, and control improvement initiatives
• Manage team performance, training, and appraisals
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage BBBEE audits

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance
• Experience in accounting and financial control
• Knowledge of hotel accounting procedures and SARS compliance
• Proficiency in Accpac or similar accounting software
