Assistant Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Assist the Financial Controller in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support budget management, forecasting activities, and variance analysis
• Oversee the accuracy of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Collaborate on general ledger management and financial transaction recording
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures and account reconciliations
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls
• Prepare financial analyses to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local/international regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in luxury hospitality
• Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial control procedures
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with PMS/ERP systems
• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills
