Assistant Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of the accounts payable (AP) function and accuracy of supplier invoices
• Assist with P-Card reconciliations and weekly bank reconciliations across the portfolio
• Provide accurate cost recognition and assist with monthly and quarter-end close tasks, including journals and reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for deferred and prepayment accounts
• Monitor finance tracking systems and schedule monthly reviews with budget holders
• Check weekly trade payments and liaise with the trade team to resolve discrepancies
• Conduct competitor analysis and produce agent sales and incentive reports
• Act as a Casual Buyer for WDTCI, assisting with SAP/Coupa queries and purchase order tracking
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required by the team

Requirements

• Degree-level education in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in MS Excel and general MS Office packages
• Strong written and spoken English for business use
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP within a similar finance function
• Previous experience working within a finance function in the travel industry
