About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating fiber installation scopes, including backbone, pathways, splicing, and testing.
  • Support daily coordination between owners, contractors, subcontractors, and trade partners.
  • Assist with project schedules, look-ahead planning, and milestone tracking.
  • Support material procurement and tracking to ensure availability of fiber materials and equipment.
  • Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change management, and as-built drawings.
  • Support QA/QC processes and the review of fiber testing documentation such as OTDR results.
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents and Field Engineers to support daily construction activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in construction or project management within telecom, fiber, low voltage, or electrical infrastructure.
  • Direct experience with fiber optic infrastructure installation (OSP and/or ISP).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced construction environments with aggressive timelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting data center or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Familiarity with fiber testing standards including OTDR and end-to-end certification.
  • Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
