Assistant F&B Server - Banquets

Responsibilities

• Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage and dining experience for all banquet events
• Anticipate and service guest requirements proactively before requests are made
• Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner
• Maintain familiarity with beverage service, including appropriate stemware and garnishes
• Complete opening and closing side work, ensuring all tables are set according to brand standards
• Utilize the hotel's computer system for ringing up sales, printing, and closing checks
• Carry trays, bus, and reset tables with linen, china, glass, and silver
• Manage private dining room needs, including buffet breakdowns and side station setups
• Ascertain guest satisfaction and immediately report any accidents or complaints to management
• Ensure equipment, linen, and related inventories are well-planned and maintained

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience or an internship in a similar capacity, private dining, or a private lounge
• Proven previous experience in F&B service
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Capacity to work long hours as required by event schedules
• Strong multitasking and customer care skills
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
