Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Monitor cleanliness and inventory levels to ensure smooth daily housekeeping operations onboard Viking Mississippi
• Provide high-level comfort and service to guests, maintaining impeccable standards in staterooms and public areas
• Lead, support, and motivate a multi-cultural team to maximize productivity and crew satisfaction
• Resolve guest-related issues and special requests promptly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and public health policies
• Work alongside the Executive Housekeeper to achieve departmental quality and financial KPI goals
• Maintain impeccable grooming standards in accordance with Viking’s Image and Uniform Standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper or similar role in 5-star hospitality
• Proven experience in sanitation and knowledge of spot and stain removal
• Strong team-building, coaching, and motivational skills
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of an intense shipboard role, including standing, kneeling, and lifting heavy items
• Fully vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus/Diphtheria, and Hepatitis A and B
