About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver events in support of the Senior Event Manager, ensuring high-quality customer experiences.
  • Manage media and content by writing press releases, managing media kits, and monitoring coverage.
  • Support the management of the event P&L, including side-events, conferences, and seminars.
  • Develop event strategies by analyzing market trends and incorporating customer feedback.
  • Liaise with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure all event elements are aligned.
  • Negotiate with venues and suppliers to meet specific event requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key buyers and industry associations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, or Business.
  • 5-7 years of experience in event development and relevant PR.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management (associations, buyers, media, or government bodies).
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, including market research and trend analysis.
  • Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office, and Canva.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20-30%.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules during peak event seasons.
