About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver events in support of the Senior Event Manager, ensuring high-quality customer experiences.
- Manage media and content by writing press releases, managing media kits, and monitoring coverage.
- Support the management of the event P&L, including side-events, conferences, and seminars.
- Develop event strategies by analyzing market trends and incorporating customer feedback.
- Liaise with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure all event elements are aligned.
- Negotiate with venues and suppliers to meet specific event requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with key buyers and industry associations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, or Business.
- 5-7 years of experience in event development and relevant PR.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management (associations, buyers, media, or government bodies).
- Strong strategic thinking skills, including market research and trend analysis.
- Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office, and Canva.
- Ability to travel approximately 20-30%.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules during peak event seasons.
