Assistant Electrical Integration Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive Electrical manufacturing integration from concept through to pre-production and plant builds
• Develop plant and program strategies for new products in conjunction with Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV and Manufacturing Planning
• Unify cross-functional teams to accurately capture overall Electrical impacts to manufacturing
• Represent the Electrical SDV and Vehicle-as-a-Tester (VaaT) voice during program planning and escalations
• Collaborate with global team members across multiple time zones to ensure seamless integration
• Build strategic relationships across software, manufacturing, and program management functions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of GM Manufacturing systems, Tooling systems, and Electrical Content within the assembly process
• Working knowledge of the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP)
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Ability to travel 25-50% domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Plant or Launch Assignment
• Experience with Electrical, Software Architecture, or Program Teams
• Background in Manufacturing Engineering
• Project management or product launch experience
• Ability to review product design proposals for manufacturing impacts
