About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain Avid projects and keep editorial files organized
- Manage and process storyboards using Flix, including importing layout, animation, and lighting shots
- Import, log, and prep dialogue recordings (scratch dialogue, production recordings, and ADR)
- Output movie files for sound, digital intermediate, and music departments
- Organize sound effects and music assets
- Assist editors with Avid builds for screenings and quality control of outputs
- Publish to production by managing EDLs and change notes
- Provide timely and accurate information to the production team
- Assist in retake sessions and upload screeners to PIX as required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in animation editorial
- High degree of proficiency in Avid Media Composer
- Strong understanding of feature animation pipelines and workflows
- Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under tight schedules
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, or ProTools
