About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group career counseling to undergraduate students and recent alumni
- Research, develop, and implement career education programming, including workshops, panels, and presentations
- Track, assess, and report on counseling outcomes and program effectiveness
- Develop and maintain proactive relationships with students, alumni, faculty, administrators, and employers
- Serve as a team member or lead on Center for Career Education (CCE) wide initiatives
- Establish and maintain online and print career resources
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or its equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field working with diverse undergraduate populations
- Strong career education skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Availability to work some evenings and weekends throughout the year
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field
- Knowledge of industry recruiting practices and job search processes
- Experience with cross-campus outreach and collaboration
- Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Handshake, and recruiting databases
