Assistant Director, TRIO Student Support Services

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of TRIO Student Support Services, including logistical support and the IT laptop project
• Manage and maintain comprehensive program databases and student files in accordance with federal guidelines (EDGAR) and FERPA
• Oversee fiscal tracking, including recording program expenses and providing monthly reports to the Director
• Provide academic coaching and engagement for program participants
• Assist with the collection, categorization, and analysis of data for the Director’s Annual Performance Report (APR)
• Coordinate student assistants and interns for operational support and the Learning and Tutorial Lab
• Facilitate collaboration with institutional stakeholders such as Financial Aid, the Registrar, and Student Affairs
• Manage departmental transactions for student field trips and professional development

Requirements

• Master's degree
• Three years of experience in project or program management
• Experience in database management and report extraction
• Proven experience in budgeting and fiscal tracking
• Experience in student coaching and engagement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheet utilization
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in program or project coordination and supervision
• Knowledge of Banner or a similar Student Information System (SIS)
