Assistant Director, Student Leasing

Responsibilities

• Oversee housing services, applications, assignments, renewals, and transfers for graduate and affiliated student populations
• Develop, implement, and enforce housing policies and procedures in alignment with University mission and enrollment needs
• Lead and mentor the student leasing team, including Specialists and Senior Associates, to foster a high-performing environment
• Collaborate with University departments, including Student Affairs and Residential Operations, to align services with student needs
• Analyze student leasing and renewal data to inform decision-making and optimize housing resource utilization
• Identify and implement process improvements and technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency
• Provide high-quality customer service to residents and address inquiries promptly
• Participate in on-call rotations for student emergencies during evenings and weekends

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Public Administration, or a related field
• Progressive experience in housing management, real estate, or customer service within a complex organization or higher education
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
• Strong strategic planning, policy development, and process improvement skills
• Advanced analytical abilities and proficiency with data management and reporting tools
• Proven track record of resolving complex housing issues and delivering service excellence
