About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily student conduct operations, including adjudicating cases and serving as the primary investigator for policy violations.
  • Conduct investigations into alleged student misconduct, including witness interviews and reviewing evidence.
  • Serve as the primary EEO officer for student cases, investigating potential Civil Rights violations.
  • Facilitate educational outreach and training programs to promote professionalism and an inclusive campus community.
  • Recruit and train members of the Student Conduct Hearing Board.
  • Maintain accurate conduct records and databases in compliance with FERPA.
  • Serve as a member of the NEOMED CARE Team to support student well-being.
  • Oversee related budgets and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Counseling, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Title IX, Clery Act, FERPA, VAWA, and EEO federal statutes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in student affairs within a higher education setting, specifically involving disciplinary processes or administrative investigations.
  • Experience with Maxient software.
  • Experience with Banner software.
  • Strong understanding of student development and university environments.
