About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily student conduct operations, including adjudicating cases and serving as the primary investigator for policy violations.
- Conduct investigations into alleged student misconduct, including witness interviews and reviewing evidence.
- Serve as the primary EEO officer for student cases, investigating potential Civil Rights violations.
- Facilitate educational outreach and training programs to promote professionalism and an inclusive campus community.
- Recruit and train members of the Student Conduct Hearing Board.
- Maintain accurate conduct records and databases in compliance with FERPA.
- Serve as a member of the NEOMED CARE Team to support student well-being.
- Oversee related budgets and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Counseling, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Title IX, Clery Act, FERPA, VAWA, and EEO federal statutes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in student affairs within a higher education setting.
- Experience conducting administrative investigations or managing disciplinary processes.
- Proficiency with Maxient software.
- Experience with Banner software.
