Assistant Director, Student and Alumni Connections

Responsibilities

• Lead student-alumni programs and engagement for the Columbia College Alumni Association (CCAA).
• Develop meaningful events and programs to inspire participation from students and alumni.
• Manage the Student Ambassadors for Columbia College Alumni (SACCA) student group.
• Identify, recruit, and manage alumni and student volunteers, including board and committee members.
• Manage admitted student programs by engaging alumni leaders to support yield goals through global outreach.
• Create, monitor, and reconcile budgets for student-alumni programming and assigned events.
• Serve as a liaison to internal partners including the Columbia College Fund, Center for Career Education, and Undergraduate Student Life.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• High level of proficiency and comfort working with technology systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well in a group setting.
• Ability to work long hours, including some evenings, weekends, and travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in alumni relations, volunteer management, program management, or student services.
• Experience working in higher education or a similarly complex institution.
• Master's degree in student affairs or higher education administration.
