Assistant Director/Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and FX exposure mitigation.
• Oversee development finance by tracking project costs, budgets, and cash flows for ongoing developments.
• Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and compliance reporting.
• Supervise VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, including UAE and international tax regulations.
• Oversee revenue distribution to unit owners and manage collections and receivables.
• Strengthen internal controls and oversee supplier payments through SAP Ariba.
• Support international operations, specifically focusing on entities in Spain and the United States.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or ACCA; an MBA is an advantage.
• 10–15 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, consolidation, taxation, and treasury management.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with PCAOB audit requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP and Ariba systems.
• Ability to travel periodically to international project sites in Spain and the USA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the hospitality, real estate, or investment holding sectors.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
