Assistant Director, Production Management

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational initiatives and communicate company objectives clearly to the team
• Manage event project lifecycles, including technical production schedules, labor requirements, and execution plans
• Oversee technical production standards and ensure compliance with company policies to minimize liability
• Manage event finances, including budget setting, cost management, and post-event financial analysis
• Act as the primary on-site contact for clients to ensure exceptional customer service
• Oversee resource allocation, prioritizing internal equipment and optimizing team productivity
• Support personnel development through continuous feedback, performance management, and training opportunities
• Assist sales teams with technical consultations and labor cost planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of audiovisual or related technical experience
• 5+ years of live event technical or logistics experience
• 6+ years of project management experience
• 3+ years of team management experience and 4+ years of supervisory experience
• 4+ years of experience using 3D design software
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills under pressure
