Assistant Director Production – Attractions

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive event strategies and oversee the strategic planning, logistics, and production sequencing of events
• Direct the setup of sound, projection, lighting, staging, and audiovisual requirements
• Manage the Special Events department budget and ensure cost-effective operations
• Schedule and coordinate manpower and equipment resources for event setup and operation
• Oversee in-house teams and third-party vendors to ensure safety compliance and risk mitigation
• Lead, mentor, and develop the AV technical crew while promoting company-wide standards
• Manage inventory of operating supplies and equipment and implement quality control mechanisms for setup and strike

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in AV technical services with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience working in luxury resorts or five-star entertainment venues
• Industry certifications in AV control systems, rigging safety, or projection technology
• Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal skills for multicultural environments
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Degree in Audio Engineering, Technical Theatre, Production Design, or a related field is a plus
