About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide enrollment coaching and admissions support for prospective students, including career advising and degree mapping.
  • Deliver academic advising to approximately 100 current students, assisting with registration, academic interventions, and petitions.
  • Monitor student success metrics such as course engagement and degree progress to initiate proactive academic conversations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all advising interactions within database software.
  • Evaluate degree requirements and coordinate files for submission to the registrar.
  • Support program development by communicating student feedback to the Program Director and contributing to promotional content.
  • Collaborate with campus offices including Registrar, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts to streamline services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience in higher education, career counseling, or a related field.
  • Experience in higher education or career counseling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Experience using CRM, SIS, or LMS platforms.
  • Ability to establish trust and build rapport with prospective and non-traditional students.
  • A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the integration of faith and learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Experience organizing and coordinating student engagement or community-building events.
  • Basic knowledge of financial aid policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated skill in addressing student challenges and fostering positive academic outcomes.
