Assistant Director - Office of Experiential Education

Responsibilities

• Lead experiential education operations to ensure alignment with academic goals and accreditation standards
• Oversee student placement systems, including matching, partnerships, and program quality evaluation
• Direct data, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to support effective decision-making
• Manage budgets, projects, and technological systems to ensure efficient and sustainable operations
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships and agreements with experiential sites to support high-quality placement opportunities
• Manage a team of professionals providing support for local and international student placements

Requirements

• University Degree in educational leadership and/or administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years of educational leadership administration experience
• Experience working in an academic, healthcare, or clinical environment
• Experience managing staff within a unionized environment
• Proven experience planning, managing, and implementing projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master's Degree in Health Administration
• Demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning and change management
• Experience meeting the needs of students, employers, and industry partners in a post-secondary environment
