Assistant Director of Transfer and International Admissions

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual recruitment plans for transfer and international student populations.
• Represent the university at domestic and international recruitment events, including college fairs and conferences.
• Manage the end-to-end admissions process, including application review and transcript evaluation.
• Evaluate academic transcripts and international credentials in collaboration with faculty and academic departments.
• Build and maintain relationships with community college advisors, international counselors, and education agents.
• Establish and maintain articulation agreements and transfer pathways with key community colleges.
• Supervise and mentor Admissions Counselors and student staff.
• Utilize CRM systems to manage student records and analyze recruitment data and conversion rates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education Administration, International Studies, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in college admissions, recruitment, or enrollment management.
• Experience working with transfer and/or international student populations.
• Knowledge of transfer credit evaluation, articulation agreements, and international admissions practices.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, International Education, or a related field.
• Experience with international student recruitment, including SEVIS and F-1 visa processes.
• Proficiency with CRM systems such as Slate and Banner.
• Experience establishing community college partnerships or developing articulation agreements.
• Fluency in a second language (Spanish, French, or Mandarin preferred).
