About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual recruitment plans for transfer and international student populations.
- Represent the university at domestic and international recruitment events, including college fairs and conferences.
- Manage the end-to-end admissions process, including application review and transcript evaluation.
- Evaluate academic transcripts and international credentials in collaboration with faculty and academic departments.
- Build and maintain relationships with community college advisors, international counselors, and education agents.
- Establish and maintain articulation agreements and transfer pathways with key community colleges.
- Supervise and mentor Admissions Counselors and student staff.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage student records and analyze recruitment data and conversion rates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education Administration, International Studies, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in college admissions, recruitment, or enrollment management.
- Experience working with transfer and/or international student populations.
- Knowledge of transfer credit evaluation, articulation agreements, and international admissions practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, International Education, or a related field.
- Experience with international student recruitment, including SEVIS and F-1 visa processes.
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Slate and Banner.
- Experience establishing community college partnerships or developing articulation agreements.
- Fluency in a second language (Spanish, French, or Mandarin preferred).
