About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment and admissions activities specifically for prospective transfer students
- Review transfer applications and supporting documentation to render admissions decisions in accordance with University policies
- Interpret and evaluate transfer coursework, including course equivalencies and academic requirements
- Serve as the primary institutional representative to the Community College of Philadelphia and develop additional community college partnerships
- Manage communication with prospective transfer students across multiple platforms to support enrollment
- Utilize admissions and student information systems, including Banner and SLATE, to manage workflows
- Analyze admissions processes and enrollment data to recommend operational improvements and support recruitment strategy
- Collaborate with the Offices of Financial Aid, Registrar, and Academic Affairs to ensure a seamless student experience
- Participate in evening and weekend recruitment activities, including Transfer Days and college fairs
Requirements
- Master's degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in admissions, transfer recruitment, higher education administration, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and analyze data
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to travel and maintain a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with community college partnerships and transfer articulation
- Knowledge of transfer credit evaluation and academic policies
- Proficiency with Banner SIS and SLATE CRM
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish or other languages)
