Master's degree preferred, 1-2 years college/university experience, Experience with IMleagues or Fusion IM, Experience leading collegiate recreation or club sports, Organizational and team-building skills
About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise student staff in the Springs Student Center, fitness center, and intramural sports roles
- Advise all club sports, oversee club sport budgets, and assist with recruiting new members
- Manage the intramural sports program, including event scheduling, participant recruitment, and official training
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Springs Student Center in coordination with the Director of Student Involvement
- Develop and implement recreation policies, procedures, staff manuals, and training programs
- Direct recreation social media and marketing efforts
- Participate in Student Affairs team initiatives, staff meetings, and campus committees
- Serve on the weekend on-call rotation and work nights/weekends as required for programming
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience within a college or university setting (graduate experience considered)
- Experience leading collegiate recreation, club sports, or intramural sports
- Experience with IMleagues, Fusion IM, or comparable recreation software
- Strong organizational, team-building, and presentation skills
- Ability to develop positive, proactive relationships with students and colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Recreation, College Student Personnel, or a related field
