Assistant Director of Student Involvement for Recreation

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for student engagement, co-curricular involvement, and campus life programming
• Supervise direct reports including the Senior Director of Residence Life and Director of Student Involvement
• Oversee student activities, leadership development, and recreational sports programs
• Manage annual revenue and expense budgets with strategic resource allocation
• Administer the College’s Student Conduct System and implement restorative justice practices
• Serve as Deputy Title IX Coordinator to ensure institutional compliance with federal regulations
• Collaborate with campus partners to support student retention and holistic development

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in student affairs with increasing levels of responsibility
• Proven experience in budget management and staff supervision
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning
• Comprehensive knowledge of FERPA, Clery Act, and Title IX regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Terminal degree in a relevant field
• Experience with student conduct administration and Title IX compliance
• Experience in crisis management and emergency response protocols
