About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of residential conduct cases, including intake, review, and assignment.
- Serve as a hearing officer for high-level, sensitive, or complex cases involving safety concerns or bias incidents.
- Ensure conduct processes align with institutional policies, federal guidelines, and higher education best practices.
- Act as a primary administrator for the Maxient database, managing user access and system updates.
- Provide outreach, support, and referrals for students experiencing personal, academic, or mental health challenges.
- Serve as a liaison between the Department of Residence and campus care teams, such as Student Counseling Services and the Dean of Students Office.
- Analyze conduct trends to provide data-driven insights for policy and training development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience with student conduct systems and behavioral intervention processes.
- Proficiency using Maxient or similar case management systems.
- Strong skills in crisis response, conflict resolution, and student support.
- Experience training and supporting professional and student staff.
