Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Success

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of the Division I Intercollegiate Athletics Program.
• Manage academic eligibility, graduation, and personal development for all student-athletes.
• Provide primary academic support services to assigned teams or groups of student-athletes.
• Supervise the Student-Athlete Monitoring Program and oversee graduate assistants and student interns.
• Coordinate career development opportunities, programming, and community service projects.
• Assume supervisory duties in the absence of the Director.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in athletic administration, sport management, higher education, counseling, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience at the university or college level, preferably in athletics or student services.
• Knowledge of NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics rules and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in intercollegiate playing or coaching.
• Knowledge of Datatel Colleague or similar student information software.
