About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and solicit business within designated market segments to ensure advance bookings
- Achieve revenue goals for rooms, banquet, catering, and room rental through proactive prospecting
- Implement yield strategies, pricing, and market mix to meet budget and forecast targets
- Build business relationships through networking, community participation, and supplier partnerships
- Manage accounts to ensure guest satisfaction and solicit new business
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to facilitate communication and guest satisfaction
- Conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
Requirements
- Five or more years of related experience in a hotel sales setting
- Supervisory experience required
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or hotel management preferred
- Working knowledge of Travelclick/Hotelligence Business Travel analysis tool
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license
- Strong command of written and verbal English
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales Pro knowledge
- Experience with brand-specific Property Management Systems (PMS)
