About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and solicit business within designated market segments to ensure advance bookings
  • Achieve revenue goals for rooms, banquet, catering, and room rental through proactive prospecting
  • Implement yield strategies, pricing, and market mix to meet budget and forecast targets
  • Build business relationships through networking, community participation, and supplier partnerships
  • Manage accounts to ensure guest satisfaction and solicit new business
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to facilitate communication and guest satisfaction
  • Conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients

Requirements

  • Five or more years of related experience in a hotel sales setting
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or hotel management preferred
  • Working knowledge of Travelclick/Hotelligence Business Travel analysis tool
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong command of written and verbal English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales Pro knowledge
  • Experience with brand-specific Property Management Systems (PMS)
