Assistant Director of Retail Security

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site security personnel and daily operations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication
• Develop and implement site-specific security policies and procedures
• Manage scheduling, staffing, recruitment, and training of security officers
• Review and verify all reports, logs, and incident documentation for accuracy
• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with uniform and equipment standards
• Utilize and oversee security systems including CCTV and reporting technology
• Enforce company policies and administer coaching or disciplinary actions

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of security supervision or leadership experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• UT Guard Card strongly preferred
• Proficient in computer systems and security technology
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with on-call availability
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in corrections, law enforcement, military, or account management
• Experience in security operations
