Assistant Director of Research Projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams including clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of clinical trials from study start-up through closeout, including planning, initiation, and execution.
• Develop detailed project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation plans to ensure scientific rigor.
• Ensure strict compliance with ICH-GCP, FDA/EMA regulations, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Proactively identify research risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize study disruption.
• Manage clinical trial budgets, funding submissions, and vendor performance (CROs, labs, and imaging providers).
• Oversee equipment and supply acquisition, maintenance, and third-party invoice approvals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in clinical trial management and overseeing multi-disciplinary studies.
• Deep understanding of ICH-GCP compliance and FDA/EMA regulatory frameworks.
• Strong background in budget development and financial resource oversight.
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional leadership and managing direct reports.
• Ability to manage complex project timelines and stakeholder communications.
