About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and advance the strategic development of external funding aligned with ORED research priorities
- Oversee grant development coordination and project management activities, including planning meetings, workshops, and proposal development retreats
- Serve as the administrative liaison to internal and external stakeholders for assigned research priorities
- Develop and implement evaluation tools to track and report on research enterprise initiatives
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and impact
- Collaborate on annual ROI analyses and produce corresponding reports for university leadership
- Design and conduct faculty development programs, workshops, and mentoring initiatives to enhance grant-writing skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in a higher education setting
- Note: Relevant experience in key job responsibilities may be considered in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree and 5 years of experience in a higher education setting
- Experience in pre-award and/or post-award support
- Experience interfacing with state, federal, or industry sponsors
- Experience with the development of financial reports
