Assistant Director of Research Development & Evaluation

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and advance the strategic development of external funding aligned with ORED research priorities
• Oversee grant development coordination and project management activities, including planning meetings, workshops, and proposal development retreats
• Serve as the administrative liaison to internal and external stakeholders for assigned research priorities
• Develop and implement evaluation tools to track and report on research enterprise initiatives
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and impact
• Collaborate on annual ROI analyses and produce corresponding reports for university leadership
• Design and conduct faculty development programs, workshops, and mentoring initiatives to enhance grant-writing skills

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in a higher education setting
• Note: Relevant experience in key job responsibilities may be considered in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree and 5 years of experience in a higher education setting
• Experience in pre-award and/or post-award support
• Experience interfacing with state, federal, or industry sponsors
• Experience with the development of financial reports
