Assistant Director of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management
• Address patient care, staffing, and other operational issues
• Supervise nurses and staff
• Ensure adequate staffing for oncoming shifts
• Handle occurrences during the shift with appropriate documentation and communication
• Determine issues to be referred to the Administrator on call
• Collaborate with patients, family members, and physicians to resolve problems

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Registered nurse licensed in Montana
• Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience
• Demonstrated leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
